WISCONSIN WORKERS UNDER ATTACK! STAND WITH WISCONSIN PUBLIC EMPLOYEES!
The unprecedented assault on Wisconsin public employees and their right to collective bargaining has made headlines across the country. Republican Gov. Scott Walker and the Republican state senate in Wisconsin have bullied and threatened public workers and labor unions with a push to end decades of Wisconsin policy of recognizing collective bargaining rights for state employees.
The partisan attack by Gov. Walker and his Republican allies is funded and directed by corporate interests and radical “Tea Party” groups, most notably billionaires Charles and David Koch of Koch Industries. The Koch brothers and their partisan political organizations contributed tens of thousands of dollars directly to the campaign that “elected” Gov. Walker and other Republicans lat fall. Millions more were spent indirectly to assist Gov. Walker and the GOP state senators now seeking to destroy basic employee rights by smearing their election opponents with attack ads.
The Kochs and other corporate interests organizations and “astroturf” front groups are now pumping millions of dollars into a fear and smear campaign against the Wisconsin public employees and union members standing up to protest their rights by taking to the streets and voicing their anger through peaceful protests at the state capitol.
ALL AMERICANS AND ALL PROGRESSIVES MUST STAND WITH THE PEOPLE OF WISCONSIN!
The same tactics used to bully state employees and bust labor unions in Wisconsin could be coming to your state next! This is extra reason to GET INVOLVED and join the good people of Wisconsin in protesting this unprecedented and radical assault on organized labor and the right of public employees.
