I, a Canadian, have long watched and studied US politics (our own seem tame by comparison). I would very much enjoy doing the occasional article on US politics from a distinctly Canadian perspective. In reading the news I get dejected
To see a country once so respected
Its policies now misdirected
POTUS plans to all be deflected
By the Tea Baggers sadly elected.
To the President they objected
All his programs to be subjected
To a Congress that has been directed
Make sure his plans are rejected
While the wealthy of course are protected.
Right wing plans they’ve now projected
To leave friends taxes uncollected
Our environment left unprotected
The poor and our children neglected
Seniors’ health care disconnected.
Food processing un-inspected
Creationism in schools injected
Science closely inspected
Lest theories that are infected
Be inserted in spots not expected.
In reviewing their goals I’ve detected
Barriers to progress erected,
All democrat pols suspected
Their messages falsely reflected
Their thoughts and words disrespected.
To voters now disaffected
I say give these bums the unexpected
Lets get things soon corrected
Make sure they’re not re-elected
That Baggers next year get ejected.
Poor poor misguided peter, don’t like the taste of tea? I feel so sorry that you liberals refuse to see the truth, even when it smacks you in the face. Obama/Holder instituted “fast and furious” . Thats a fact. Operation f&f was directly responsible for the murder of a border patrol agent. F&f has been responsible for the murder of untold countless murder of Mexicans in Mexico. The Mexican govt is looking into F7F as an act of war against it, Obama has bypassed the constitution by his illegal bombing of Libya and the killing of Libyan citizens. Obama has espoused socialist/communist propaganda as shown by the illegal obamacare law. Obama attended a church in Chicago for 20 some years that had as a pastor the “rev” Wright who hates all white people.This country is going to hell because of socialist/communist dogma in the Democratic party. Sixty thats 60 democrats are registered as socialist/communist party. The CPUSA has endorsed Obama. Every fact I have stated can easily be looked up by any intelligent person. Stop listening to the MSM and their leftest propafganda and start using your head for something more than a hat rack. The blinded liberals are destroying our country and all you do is rant about a group of people who want to save America for Americans.
Progressives is exactly why America is burning. Progressives suck and freedom is where it is at. Nobody ever said the word progressive until Obama took office. Now everyone is using the word only to back fire in your face
Hey, PatriotWatchUSA, A lot of people said the word Progressive in the early 20th Century, including a Republican by the name of Theodore Roosevelt. And Obama is no progressive. By the way, how do you define freedom?
