The Basics:

This watch includes a coloured ceramic insert for the bidirectional 24-hour bezel, allowing for a triple time-zone display, screw down crown, an engraved screwed steel case back and a sapphire crystal glass.

Offered in 42mm stainless steel case and available in a variety of dial and bezel colour combinations, you are spoilt for choice with combinations of a matte black dial on black bezel, a sunray blue dial on blue bezel or a sandblasted anthracite (dark grey) dial with a green bezel, on either a matching steel bracelet for $4,550 or a leather strap for $4,400.

The Movement:

The new Longines Spirit Zulu Time houses an exclusive new in-house calibre with a silicon balance-spring which guarantees the accurate indication of time zones. A state-of-the-art technology that allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently of the GMT indicator. Additional time zones are read using a 24-hour hand and a bidirectional rotating bezel, also graduated over 24 hours.

Regardless of your destination or connection to a different time zone you will never lose track of time when you have the Longines Spirit Zulu Time on your wrist.

Why Zulu Time?

The Longines Spirit Zulu Time takes its name from a historic Longines dual time-zone watch with the same name that was released in 1925. It was the first Longines wristwatch to indicate a second time zone and featured Z-flag on the dial. Z stands for Zulu Time, the universal time format – used both historically and today – in aviation and military.

Pioneering Spirit:

A link between history and innovation, the Longines Spirit Zulu Time pays homage to the brand’s rich heritage. Many adventures have crossed the world’s time zones with a Longines on their wrist, making the impossible a reality. Now it is time for modern pioneers to do the same.
